Your AQUOS Sense 8 should support eSIM
Let's ensure it's not restricted to any specific carrier or network.
- Open Settings on your Sharp device.
- Find section related to SIM cards or mobile network. This might be called "Connections", "Network & internet" or similar.
- In this section find options mentioning "SIM Manager" or "eSIM".
If you see "Add eSIM" option or eSIM profile management, your device is likely unlocked for eSIM use.
If there's no mention of eSIM or adding eSIM profiles, refer to your device manual or contact Sharp support for confirmation.
Please note, certain carriers may have policies preventing unlocking within the initial six months of use.
*eSIM support is only available in Japan and certain regions.
- Devices originating from China, Hong Kong, and Macao do not support eSIM functionality.
- Please contact your carrier or device manufacturer to confirm that your Aquos device is eSIM-capable.
